Learn MoreSopfia loves the energy, teamwork and friendships that come with both soccer and cheer. She loves challenging herself, learning new skills and seeing hard work turn into progress. Whether she’s on the field or cheering from the sidelines, she enjoys encouraging her teammates and being part of something bigger than herself. Most of all, she loves competing, having fun and creating memories with the people beside her.
Sopfia is inspired by her sisters, coaches and the strong women in her life who continually show her what perseverance, confidence and determination look like. She learns from the people who encourage her to keep going even when something is difficult and to always lead with kindness. Their example reminds her that being a great athlete is about more than talent.. it’s about character, discipline, supporting others and becoming better every day.
My proudest moments aren’t defined by a trophy or a final score, they’re the moments I watch Sopfia choose perseverance. I’ve seen her face challenges, have tough practices and experience disappointment, yet continue showing up ready to work. Watching her grow in both soccer and cheer while encouraging the girls around her makes me incredibly proud. Her determination, heart and ability to keep going remind me that her greatest victories are already happening in who she is becoming.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
