She loves the relaxing and freeing feeling of being in the water.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Mom, because she encourages her always and her coach Lindsey Cravens because she pushes her to her full potential.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

She got nervous before a swimming race that she had never competed in before and panicked and left the swimming block to find me. I talked her through the anxiety and she ran back to compete in the race. She did not win but she finished despite being scared. I was proud that she pushed through the fear and finished the race
