She is inspired by her coaches but especially the female junior coaches who over the years have given inspiration and encouragement.
Last year her U13 A1 hockey team played so well they got tiered up to play against U15 tier 1 teams. The height, stamina and strength differences provided a huge challenge she + her team met head on. They learned, strategized and ended up winning silver in the division championships. They also qualified to play in U15 provincials.
