Learn MoreShe loves being a part of the team! She has always been a people person since she was a baby. This way, she gets to share her passion with others. She also loves to learn. She studies all the college players, and even her peers from different clubs around the country. She has really inspired me…And I’m her Dad!
My daughter is inspired on the court by other athletes’ journeys. For example, she loves how the late Kobe Bryant started off slow his first few years and then went on to become one of the greatest! She’s also inspired by how Simone Biles overcame mental issues to make a remarkable Olympic comeback! Off the court, she is inspired by my wife and me, and our willingness to do everything we can to put her in the best position to succeed! That alone fires her up even more!
What makes me the proudest is hearing from her coaches how coachable she is. Knowing how stubborn I was used to concern me, but she has definitely taken her own path and opened her mind to constructive criticism and honest feedback! Just last season, for example, she hit a slump in her hitting. She worked over and over again with her coaches and eventually bounced back to lead her team to a Nationals Bid. She also earned the MVP award last year for her club team!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
