Sophia is inspired by her mom and dad, her coaches, and her teammates. Her parents teach her to work hard, believe in herself, and never give up. Her coaches push her to grow, while her teammates inspire her to be a supportive leader and celebrate others. Together, they remind Sophia that being a great athlete is about effort, character, and heart.
One of my proudest moments was watching Sophia score her first goal of the game in soccer and seeing how confidently she played afterward. She has worked so hard to grow as an athlete, and watching her trust herself, stay focused, and step up for her team showed me how much she has grown, not just in skill, but in confidence, leadership, and determination.
