Sydney loves to be pushed and push her team to their limits. She is wants to be the best and compete against the best. She is fierce. She is competitive. She loves the game. You can feel the love she has the game as you watch her step on the dirt. She leads with passion, and she loves to see her teammates crush their goals.
The Branson family has been a huge impact to Sydney. She looks up to Mickey Branson. She sees the grit, grind, and love Mickey has for softball, and it encourages her to be the best on the field. Coach Branson has been her coach for two years. He has molded her into the mentally tough player she is today. He continues to pour into her and continues to encourage her to be the best she can be!
The proudest I have been is every time she steps in to regroup her team. As a 6th grader starting on the A team of her middle school team, she called a time out to pick up her teammates that were 7th and 8th graders. She leads with humility, and she wants the best for her team. She knows she is better because of them, and she is never selfish of her talent. She knows she can’t be who she is without her team.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
