On the field, Reagan Welch is a teammate who inspires Sydney. Reagan is hard-working and kind to everyone. Reagan is selfless and always there to support her team, even when she isn’t feeling her best. Sydney is also inspired by her mom, someone who also gives 100% all the time and shows selflessness in being a steady presence and support to her family.
Sydney makes me proud in so many ways. Most of all, I have seen her over the years, grow as an athlete and a person. She is humble and authentically herself. She is dedicated to personal growth and always pushes herself to do better. Even on days when she doesn’t feel like getting in a workout, she pushes through to make sure she upholds a high standard for herself. She sets a strong example for her teammates and her siblings. She makes her family and team proud.
