Whether he’s making a basket, hitting a great golf shot, or playing rugby, he enjoys the competition, teamwork, and feeling of accomplishment that comes from improving and giving his best.
He is inspired by athletes who work hard, stay humble, and never give up, but most of all, he is inspired by his family, who constantly encourage him to believe in himself and keep trying. Their support reminds him that success isn’t just about winning, it’s about working hard, learning from challenges, and becoming the best version of himself.
One of the moments that makes me proudest as his mother is watching him step outside his comfort zone and fearlessly try new sports. Whether he succeeds or struggles, he keeps showing up, learning, and encouraging himself to do better. Seeing his confidence grow, his willingness to work hard, and his determination to discover what he is capable of reminds me that raising a child is not just about celebrating his achievements, it’s about watching him become resilient, confident, and kind.
