What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

The rush of the adrenaline of being on the line. Waiting to show his opponent how unstoppable he is. He will shut his opponent down. He goes back for more. The pride of hard work and practice shows every play when Tallan is out there. He is directeing his teammates as a Captain he shows all the leadership qualities. He take heart in the brotherhood with his squad. He is commended by opposing coaches for his work on the field. He is a mover not a loud mouth. Je will always rise to the occasion.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His parents, coaches, and grandparents. Tallan understood at a young age nothing in life is free. He started working ay the age of 14. He is 17 now. Never missed work unless he is sick. Tallan was very thankful to get a car after he got his drivers licenses. He takes care of his car. Always works to put gas in the tank. He barely wants to go out. He just keeps his head down. Keeps moving forward. Doing the right thing inspired him. You do good in life. He knows he will be rewarded.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Tallan had to sit out last year, his junior year due to an ACL tear.. He had full reconstruction surgery. Even though he couldn’t be on the field. It never stopped him from helping from the sideline . His Coaches were thrilled with him. He never gives up. He never got mad. His voice was such a presence last season. His teammates do turn to him a lot for leadership. He is that quiet fixture. Only speaks up when necessary.
