Mom. She played softball in high school and she’s taught me how to play and she’s my biggest fan no matter what the outcome is. Montana Fouts showed me that anybody from a small town in KY can make is big because that’s what I plan to do.
I overheard her talking to one of her teammates. Teammate was mad another player didn’t hit the ball hard. Tatum told her it’s ok, she still hit the ball and did her job at the plate and had a RBI. She told her that we have to cheer for each other no matter what and always be good teammates. That meant more to me than any trophy or anything else she could have done on the field.
