Learn MoreTaylor loves competing, being part of a team, and pushing herself to get better. Volleyball is her passion, but basketball, soccer, and track have helped make her a stronger all-around athlete. She loves the energy of a close game, celebrating with her teammates, and discovering that she can always work a little harder, jump a little higher, or become a little better.
Taylor is inspired by Ilona Maher because she represents the kind of athlete Taylor wants to be—strong, confident, competitive, and completely herself. She loves that Ilona celebrates being a powerful female athlete while also being funny, kind, and authentic. She shows Taylor that strength and femininity go hand in hand and that you never have to change who you are to be successful.
This summer, Taylor came back from a car accident that broke both bones in her right arm. Watching her work her way back and compete again with so much strength, no fear, and an incredible amount of passion has made me unbelievably proud. She never let the accident define her or take away her love of sports. Seeing her step back onto the court and compete fearlessly showed me just how strong she truly is.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
