What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreComrade, physical aspect of all games and being a team player. She loves the sportsmanship of all games she plays in. Softball, basketball, golfing, swimming and volleyball.
I would say her grandparents and parents. Both sets have played sports and were athletes as well. She has always played sports starting from swimming lessons at 6 months. Went on from playing sports throughout her life of 16 years.
She was in a swim meet at 7 yrs old or younger. She was considered the one to beat by all swimmers. She overheard a parent say her daughter was going to lose because she was up against Teal. Teal, was winning the lap, but at end was disqualified as she purposely touched side of pool with one hand. Teal smiled and her friend as well. Showed great sportsmanship. Teal has a sports room full of medals and trophies. She’s an outstanding athlete. Always, trying to do her best and be strong.
