He is inspired by his uncle who played college football. He will sit and watch his old game tapes daily, asking questions about this move or technique and the why’s of who he blocked on particular plays. I’ve watched those games play by play everyday since practice started.
After his first day of practice, he got in the car sore and beat up, dragging because he was tired. I asked him how he liked it, he turned to me and says, dad I can’t wait for tomorrow. Since then he is rushing me to get to practice so he hit the tackling dummy before practice.
