What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about Taekwondo is that it makes me feel strong and confident. I love earning new belts because it shows all my hard work is paying off. I get to learn cool kicks, make new friends, and challenge myself every class. Tournaments are exciting, and I love cheering on my teammates. Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My biggest inspiration is my instructors (parents) because they always encourage me to do my best and never give up. They lead by example and show me what respect, discipline, and perseverance look like every day. Off the mat, my parents, family and friends inspire me because they support me, cheer me on, and help me become a kind and responsible person. They remind me that being a black belt isn't just about martial arts—it's about how you treat others every day.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment I'm most proud of in my athletic journey is earning my black belt. It took years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. There were times when training was challenging, but I never gave up. Earning my black belt showed me that with discipline, determination, and a positive attitude, I can accomplish big goals. It's a reminder that hard work pays off and inspires me to keep learning, growing, and striving to be my best both on and off the mat.
