What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves playing soccer since the age of 3. Since then, he has been growing, learning the foundation of soccer and how soccer is played world wide and how it connects people. He feels sports create strong, healthy individuals and to learn something new with every sport there is. But for him, soccer is his passion and goal to become a professional soccer player. Seeing his favorite players play and how they win and lose is a lesson for every game and for him as well in his games he participates.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The person that inspired me to play soccer is my dad, he has played with me since the age of 3, teaching me, having patience, giving me lessons with every day we play or kick the ball. He is my inspiration of why I play soccer. Watching him play as well and see him shows me his dedication and love for soccer and that is why on and off the field, I want to make my dad proud with his love that he shows me and watching me play my games and seeing me lose or win, he does not give up on me

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moment is recognizing my growth from when I started and growing into the athlete I am and being able to compete at a level that can help me my best and keep growing. Looking back, makes me proud of who I was and who I am now and helping others grow and let them know it’s okay, we all grow into our best potential as long as we train and love the sport you do. Soccer is a sport that defines my life, school and home with my family and friends and being able to play and enjoy it.
