Thomas loves the combination of the speed and contact of football! It also has an element of surprise that makes it exciting and challenging! Friendships are the most important thing that Thomas has developed and will keep throughout his life! Football is not just a sport to Thomas it is part of him like a family!
Thomas is inspired by both his Grandpa Ron and his Dad. They both played and coached football. Grandpa Ron also coached Thomas’ 3/4 grade peewee football team. Thomas has grown up with both of these men telling football stories, practicing football skills with him, and being his most devoted fans! They both have given Thomas the encouragement that he needs to grow into a talented young man that leads by his good example. Win or lose they are proud of him!
When Thomas got the ball and ran into the end zone for a touchdown he made sure to give credit to his teammates! In this play it was especially the line that blocked for him to make this play work! Thomas values the hard work of his teammates! He knows how important it is for each player to work together on and off the field! He appreciates knowing that his teammates are always there to support him no matter what the score is!
