He inspires himself. Timmy was always told he would never plays sports. From having open heart surgery in 2015 (10 months old) then again in January of 2025. By the time July 2025 came around, he conditioned and became starting offense AND defense for his football team. He had never played before! This summer, he played baseball and was starting pitcher! He is a natural athlete and he wants to inspire others with any sort of disability that they can overcome and play too!
His football banquet at Logan Elm elementary last year. He was recognized amongst the parents, coaches and other athletes. His coach stated and I quote “Everytime Timmy stepped onto the field, I didn’t see a kid with a heart condition. I saw a kid with more heart than anyone on the field”. I still watch the video to this day and it brings tears to me eyes.
