What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhen asked, June says he loves the fact that he is always busy. It’s the love of the game (football, baseball, and track). He enjoys that can learn and improve, whether it is learning and adjusting to a new position on the field, improving his timing from the last season, or increasing his catches and hits at bat.
June says that his inspiration on the field comes from the opening season game of the Falcons about 5 years ago. Seeing those athletes in action encouraged him to become passionate and strive hard in sports. Off the field, his inspiration comes from his family. He has a strong support system who realizes the potential that he encompasses and makes him aware of his capabilities.
Over the years, June has made his family proud in a number of ways. He has shown improvement in his leadership skills, maturity levels, and ability. He has made a significant contribution to his team in all sports that he has played. In track, June won the district championship during his first year. In football, he has learned to manage his emotions and make a comeback for his team. In baseball, June hit a grand slam two games in a row, giving his team an advantage over an undefeated team.
