What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves the challenge of becoming better every day. Soccer has taught him discipline, teamwork, resilience and confidence. He works hard not only physically, but mentally, always looking for ways to improve. Most of all, he loves the feeling of stepping onto the field, giving everything he has, and seeing how far his hard work can take him.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His biggest inspiration is his family, who have supported him through every challenge and encouraged him to believe in himself. Moving to Canada as an immigrant taught him that starting over can be difficult, but it can also be an opportunity to grow. He wants to inspire other kids to never give up, believe in their dreams and remember that where you start does not define where you can go.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

What makes me most proud is not one specific game or goal, but watching how much he has grown. Since discovering soccer, he has pushed himself physically and mentally, overcome challenges and continued improving. Seeing his confidence grow and watching him believe in what he is capable of has been incredible. His journey reminds us that hard work, patience and determination can turn a dream into something real.
