What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

TJ loves football because it gives him the opportunity to compete, work as a team, and constantly challenge himself to become a better player. He enjoys learning new skills, making big plays, and encouraging his teammates. More than anything, he loves the excitement of game day and the pride that comes from representing his team with hard work, discipline, and heart.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

TJ is inspired by his dad, who was his very first football coach and taught him the fundamentals of the game, along with the importance of hard work, discipline, and perseverance. He is also inspired by his uncle, who played high school football. Growing up, TJ loved watching him make big plays and seeing the excitement he brought to the crowd on game days. Watching both of them fueled his passion for football and motivated him to become the best player and teammate he can be.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One moment that will stay with me forever was during TJ’s very first football season in the championship game. Watching him score his first touchdown was unforgettable. Seeing my baby run down the field with the football in his hands while hearing the crowd erupt and our family cheer him on filled my heart with overwhelming pride. In that moment, it felt like fireworks went off inside my heart. It wasn’t just about the touchdown—it was seeing his hard work, determination, and love for the game
