Travis is small but mighty. He is 7 years old and lives and breaths baseball. He is playing on the Waterdown 8U rep team and is loving it!

What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Travis says he loves hitting the ball and he loves to practice at home to get better so he can hit a real home run one day. He also loves all the new friends he has made being on his team.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He really likes George Springer, he likes how he is always hustling. Travis knows he is not the strongest or fastest but he try’s he best whenever he steps on the field, just like the some of the professionals.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Travis hit a “home run” this season. I was so proud as at this age (7 yrs) it isn’t a home run distance hit, it is him fast base running and listening to his coaches. He was so proud of himself! I min was so lucky to share that moment.
