Learn MoreWhat she loves most is the opportunity to challenge herself, learn something new, and become better each time she practices or competes. As a parent, I have watched her discover a confidence in herself that extends beyond the field. She enjoys being part of a team, encouraging others, and seeing how hard work can turn something unfamiliar into something she can be proud of.
As her parent, I believe her biggest inspiration comes from the people who encourage her to keep going when something feels difficult. She looks up to athletes who demonstrate humility, discipline, and perseverance not simply those who win. She is learning that being a great athlete is about more than talent it is about showing up, working hard, supporting others, and never being afraid to learn.
The moment I am proudest of is seeing her continue to show up and give her best, even when she feels unsure of herself. Watching her step outside her comfort zone, accept that she is still learning, and keep pushing forward has been more meaningful than any win. As her parent, seeing her confidence grow through hard work is something I am incredibly proud of.
