He loves the excitement of the game, the challenge of pushing himself, and the satisfaction that comes from seeing his hard work pay off. He enjoys learning from his coaches and teammates, and being a part of something bigger than himself. He loves the way basketball pushes him to keep working and never give up even when the politics of basketball get in the way.
Stephen Curry has always been his favorite player and someone he has looked up to throughout his basketball journey. He admires Curry’s incredible work ethic, confidence, leadership, and ability to keep improving while staying true to himself. More recently, Jalen Brunson has become another inspiration, especially after watching him lead the Knicks to a championship. He admires Brunson’s toughness, leadership, determination, and ability to stay composed and believe in himself.
Seeing his determination grow from when he first started playing basketball at a young age to the young athlete he is today has been incredibly rewarding. Watching him refuse to give up, believe in himself, and continue chasing his goals reminds me that his greatest strength isn’t just his talent on the court but his heart, work ethic, and perseverance.
