What he loves most about sports is the feeling of being part of a team, challenging himself, and seeing how hard work can help him improve. He loves competing, making his teammates proud, and learning something new every time he steps on the field. Most of all, sports give him a place to be himself, build confidence, and have fun.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Saquon Barkley inspires him both on and off the field. He admires Saquon’s talent, determination, hard work, and the way he continues to push himself to be better. Trey looks up to him not only as a football player, but also as someone who shows that success comes from dedication, discipline, and believing in yourself. Saquon reminds him to keep working hard, stay humble, and never give up on his goals.

One moment in Trey’s athletic journey that makes me the proudest is seeing his dedication. It’s not just one game or one accomplishment—it’s watching him continue to show up, work hard, listen, learn, and push himself to become better. As his mom, seeing his commitment and determination reminds me that he understands the importance of not giving up. I’m proud of the athlete he is becoming, but even more proud of the young man he is becoming through sports.
