I think his older brother initially was his inspiration, following in his footsteps, followed by friend, family, and teammates.
This last track season, it was his first time ever doing the long jump and he was determined, and strived to get a further distance each meet. He made it to the district meet and held onto first until the last jumper tied with him but still tied for first in his first season ever doing it.
