Learn MoreWhat he loves most about his sport is how it gives him an escape from everyday life. When he plays, he feels free, focused, and completely himself. It’s his favorite thing to do and a place where he can let go of stress, clear his mind, and simply enjoy the game. No matter what is happening around him, when he’s playing, he feels at peace and truly free.
His biggest inspiration is his mom. He admires her strong work ethic and the way she has always taught him to make the most of what life gives you. She has shown him that no matter what challenges you face, you can choose to work hard, stay positive, and keep moving forward. Her strength and determination have taught him to never make excuses and always give his best.
The moment that makes me proudest is when he moved up to the older age group with the Pittsburgh City team. Being challenged at a higher level helped him mature, grow as an athlete, and become a better teammate. His coaches taught him valuable lessons about the game, but most importantly, they taught him lessons about life, character, discipline, and perseverance that he will carry with him far beyond the field.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
