What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Soccer is Tru's favorite, and honestly, I get it. I love watching her out therechasing that challenge, digging deep for the grit it takes, never satisfied with staying the same. Every season I see her grow a little more, push a little harder, believe in herself a little bit more. And somewhere along the way, she became a leader too the kind who lifts her teammates up instead of just chasing her own moment. That's what makes me proudest. My girl, leading with heart.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

If I'm honest, her dad inspires Tru most on and off the field. She's watched him put others first, again and again, and strive to do better without ever settling. He's patient in every situation, understanding that not everyone learns at the same speed or needs the same instruction. His deep passion shows in her too, she's carried that same fire into her chosen career, staying rooted in sports medicine. He's shaped who she's becoming and the kind soul she is!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me proudest is simple: Tru shows up. No matter the pain or how badly she wants to quit, she digs deeper, never calls for the sub!She didn't love playing defense, but the team needed her there, so she gave it everything, shutting the opposing striker down completely. Furious that she couldn't score, the striker swung at Tru twice. True didn't retaliate, she just ducked. Then her teammates stepped in to back her up. That's who she is. That's what team means.
