Ty is inspired by his family. His parents are both athletically gifted, and his poppa was a state champion in baseball.
I’m most proud of Ty for stepping onto the field as an 8th grader against high school juniors and seniors with confidence and effectiveness. In the quarterfinals of his 8th grade year, he executed a beautiful bunt single to tie the game and ultimately end up sending his team to the semifinals for the first time in 40 years.
