Ty loves football because it allows him to use his biggest strengths—his heart, size, and good energy—to help his team succeed. As one of the biggest kids his age, he has learned to embrace his strength with confidence, using it to protect and support his teammates on every play. He thrives on the challenges of the game and takes pride in doing the hard work others depend on. For Ty, football is about teamwork, leadership, and using his gifts to help those around him.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Ty is driven by his teammates. Knowing others count on him motivates him to lead by example, protect those who need it most, and give maximum effort every time he steps on the field. That responsibility drives him to work harder, stay focused, and be the player his team can count on.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the moments that makes us most proud isn't tied to a single play on the field—it's watching Ty overcome dyslexia while excelling as both a student and an athlete. Over the past year, he has worked tirelessly to strengthen his reading skills, grow academically, and build confidence in the classroom while balancing the demands of football. His perseverance, resilience, and determination have shaped him into a confident, mature young leader. That growth means more than any win on the field.
