Ty loves softball because it makes her feel part of something bigger than herself. She loves the competition, adrenaline, and challenge of becoming better, but most of all, she loves her teammates. Softball has taught her hard work, trust, perseverance, and never giving up. She loves stepping on the field, competing with her team, and giving everything she has for the people beside her.
Ty’s biggest inspiration is her mom, a single mother who works hard to provide for her while being present for every game, practice, tournament, and important moment. Her mom has taught her that success comes from hard work, perseverance, commitment, and never giving up. Ty is also inspired by her coaches and teammates, but her mom reminds her why she keeps pushing. She hopes to make her mom proud and inspire others the same way.
The moment that makes me proudest is watching Ty step onto the field with confidence despite adversity. She has learned that success isn’t about a perfect game, but how you respond when things go wrong. Seeing her grow into a hardworking competitor who encourages teammates, shakes off mistakes, and fights until the last out reminds me that softball is building more than an athlete—it’s building a strong, resilient young woman who never gives up.
