What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves playing baseball because it can get pretty hard at some points. He enjoys working through the challenges and trying to help others. And another reason he loves baseball is it’s just an awesome sport - its so fun to play serious, but also joking around playing wiffle ball with friends.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He said “ The person who inspires me on the field is Aaron judge because I feel like me and him have somewhat of the same play type and the person who inspire me off the field is my dad because he can overcome everything that’s put in his way when it come to work or just a daily task”

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

A few years ago he was kicked out of the dugout for having a temper tantrum after an abat. I talked to him right outside of the dugout and explained to him that here's a moment where he let his emotions get the better of him but he needed to go apologize to the coach and cheer his team on. He eventually got back into the game and during an at-bat he had bases loaded and hit a grand slam. I'm not proud because of the grand slam. I'm proud because he humbled himself and got back in the game.
