Being only 12, Tyler looks up to older athletes, such as college and high school age camp counselors, coaches, and family friends.
Last season, Tyler was hoping to make the “A” team for basketball, but he was placed on the “B” team. After some slight initial disappointment, he did a great job looking on the bright side, feeling as though he could be a leader on the team. His coaches often looked to him to fill that role and he had an amazing season. He worked hard at each practice and game.
