Tyler is a dual sport athlete- running track while also studying taekwondo. He is a 2nd degree black belt and teaches younger kids as well.

Learn MoreThe atmosphere. In cross country and track, I am surrounded by my teammates who are all working to be better. Our team motto is 3HM which stand for Healthy, Humble, Hungry and Motivated. Everyone lives that! In Tae Kwon Do, it’s similar, except that sometimes I am teaching and growing as a leader while also improving my skills.
Phillip Cupil, a recent grad from a local high school. He’s an amazing runner, but also patient with other athletes when they show up on his training runs. My sister, she’s the one who introduced me to running and has shown me how hard work can translate into progress- she dropped crazy time over 4 years to qualify for state in the 3200m. Master Inhun Baek, my Tae Kwon Do master. He immigrated to the US and has built a successful business doing something he loves and impacting so many people.
Trying track and now cross country. Tyler was already a successful athlete, having earned 2 black belts, when he stepped out his comfort zone to try distance track. His perseverance has paid off and it’s been fun to watch him work hard in another avenue.
