What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Tyray loves the challenge of football—the competition, brotherhood, and chance to get better every time he steps on the field. He loves making big plays, but what means most to him is doing his job and helping his team succeed. After five years of playing, football has taught him discipline, toughness, teamwork, and that nothing is given—you earn every rep, every opportunity, and every win. 🏈💪

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Tyray is inspired most by his mom and dad. His dad taught him the game, pushed him to work hard, and showed him that nothing is given—you earn it. His mom is his biggest fan; win or lose, he can always hear her cheering from the stands—probably from a mile away! Together, they inspire him to stay humble, work hard, never quit, and be the best athlete and young man he can be.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moment was watching Tyray win the Super Bowl in his final year of little league. I coached him for five years, and I never gave him anything because he was my son—he had to earn every rep and every opportunity. Watching all those years of hard work, sacrifice, wins and losses finally end with him becoming a champion was something I’ll never forget. I wasn’t just proud of the football player he became; I was proud of the young man standing on that field. 🏆🏈
