Uwais loves the drive and challenge that basketball and baseball provides. He thrives off of the team building portion which allows him to teach and learn from his peers.
Uwais is inspired most by his mother. Although she doesn't play sports his drive is encouraged by the way she show up. His mother battles two chronic illnesses and through it all she puts him and his siblings first by showing up to all games.
The proudest moment in Uwais journey is his choice to put his religion first. When prayer is needed he'll pray even in the middle of a game. This makes me proud because his journey would not be possible without the "most high".
