What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat they love most about playing volleyball is the feeling of being part of a team. They love competing, improving their skills, challenging themselves, and celebrating with their teammates. Volleyball has taught them to stay determined, work hard, and never give up, even when things don’t go as planned. Most of all, they love the joy and confidence they feel when they are on the court.
The person who inspires them the most is their mom. She inspires them because she works hard, stays strong through challenges, and always encourages them to keep going. Her support reminds them that hard work and determination can help them reach their goals, both on and off the court.
One of the moments that makes me proudest is seeing her continue to show up and work hard even when things don’t go the way she hoped. She has faced challenges in volleyball, but instead of giving up, she keeps learning, improving, and pushing herself. Watching her grow stronger, more confident, and more determined through those experiences makes me incredibly proud.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
