What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What he loves most about soccer is the challenge of constantly becoming better. He loves competing, pushing his limits, and being part of a team that works toward something together. Soccer has also taught him discipline, resilience, and how to handle both success and setbacks. Most importantly, he loves the person soccer is helping him become: someone who works hard, stays humble, supports others, and never stops believing in his goals.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He is inspired by the people closest to him - his family, friends, coaches, and teammates. He makes a conscious effort to`surround himself with people who challenge him, hold him accountable and push him to become better. Their support and example motivate him to keep raising his standards, not only as an athlete, but as a person. He believes the people around you shape who you become, so he chooses to surround himself with people who bring out his best.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

A moment I was most proud was when he was invited to play in Italy. Not only an exciting opportunity, it was recognition of years of hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to soccer. Being invited to compete internationally speaks volumes about not only his ability, but his character, passion, and love for the game. Seeing his work ethic create an opportunity at that level, make me incredibly proud and showed his dreams are becoming a reality. His late father is smiling from heaven.
