What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Vivi loves that volleyball is a sport built on trust. Every play is an opportunity to support a teammate, communicate, and keep the ball alive. She enjoys the challenge of constantly improving her skills and volleyball IQ, but what means the most to her is being part of a team, encouraging others, and knowing that her effort can make a difference. Volleyball has helped her grow not only as an athlete, but as a resilient, confident, and caring young woman.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My mom inspires me the most. She has always believed in me, encouraged me through every challenge, and shown me what perseverance looks like. Watching her work hard and never give up reminds me to keep pushing myself, both on and off the court. She inspires me to be resilient, kind, and to always give my best.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Vivi has demonstrated extraordinary resilience. After overcoming a significant personal challenge, she never gave up sport she loves, renewed her determination, confidence, and joy. Her perseverance has inspired those around her, and she loves growing, competing, and being part of something bigger than herself. She has worked incredibly hard to rebuild her confidence, become a trusted teammate, and embrace the leadership and communication that come with being a libero/DS.
