One of my proudest moments was watching Vonzelle’s team fall behind by 21 points in a game. Instead of getting frustrated or giving up, he stepped up as the quarterback and became a leader. He kept his teammates focused, stayed composed under pressure, and helped lead an incredible comeback. They not only erased the 21-point deficit, but went on to win by 14 points. That moment showed me his heart, confidence, resilience, and ability to lead when his team needed him most.
