What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

​On the field, Walker gives everything he has to every practice, every play, and every game. While he certainly loves to win, his true passion lies in lifting up those around him. Even as one of the fastest runners on the team, he never leaves a teammate behind—after finishing his own drills, he runs right back out to finish alongside others, cheering them on every step of the way. He is the definition of a true team player and leader.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

​At the core of everything Walker does is his love for his dad, David, who is truly his hero. Walker looks up to him in every way, modeling his mannerisms, interests, and heart after his father while building his own unique character. David’s own football background inspired Walker to step onto the field, and every time he plays, he plays to make him proud. If you ask Walker about his future, he’ll tell you he has two big dreams: to play football, and to grow up to be just like his dad.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

While I'm always proud of Walker,one moment stands above the rest.Early in the season last year a new player joined who hadn't played before.Naturally,he was behind,and unfortunately, some of the team made him feel out of place.Without hesitating,Walker took it upon himself to introduce himself and help him learn.Through his kindness,a real friendship was born.As a parent,nothing compares to seeing him choose compassion.Being a good athlete is great but being good person is what truly matters.
