What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

It acts as a bridge, bringing kids from different backgrounds together to learn the true meaning of brotherhood and teamwork. Being part of a team inspires me to set better goals, pushing me to improve so I can support the players beside me. I live for the unique moments each game offers: the focused thrill and anticipation of what comes next.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Baker Mayfield is my biggest hero on and off the field! He is so awesome to watch on TV because he makes super cool plays and never gives up. But my favorite thing about him is that he is totally real and nice. Even though he is a famous NFL superstar, he isn't a show-off at all. He still helps kids and does amazing things for his community. Whenever his team needs him, he runs out there and saves the day without missing a beat!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

It was the last inning, and the game was super close! I was so nervous when it was my turn to bat, but I knew I had to try my best. I stood at the plate, took a giant deep breath, and got ready. Then... CRACK! I hit it so hard! I ran as fast as my legs could go toward first base. It turns out we got a double! The best part was running across the home plate knowing I helped get our team to the next round! I was so proud of both my self and my team, knowing we had pulled off that win together.
