What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Westley loves the challenge, competition, and being part of a team. As a quarterback, he enjoys leading his teammates and making plays under pressure. Basketball gives him the opportunity to use his versatility by playing all five positions and doing whatever the team needs. More than anything, he loves learning, improving, and competing alongside his teammates.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Westley’s biggest inspiration is his father. He sees the countless hours his dad dedicates to training with him, encouraging him, and teaching him the value of hard work and discipline. His father leads by example, showing him that success is earned through consistency, determination, and never giving up. That influence has shaped not only the athlete Westley is becoming, but also the young man he is growing into.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me proudest isn’t a single game or trophy—it’s watching Westley earn the trust of his coaches through his work ethic and character. Seeing him become a leader at quarterback and develop the ability to play all five positions in basketball shows how committed he is to improving. His willingness to work hard, stay coachable, and always put his team first makes me proud every day.
