Learn MoreWeston loves being part of a team and cheering on his teammates as much as he loves competing. He enjoys working hard, improving his skills, and celebrating everyone’s success. Win or lose, he wants his teammates to feel proud, supported, and confident. For Weston, sports are about heart, friendship, hard work, and lifting others up.
Weston is inspired by Tim Tebow. He admires the way Tim leads with faith, treats others with kindness and respect, and uses his platform to help people. Weston wants to be known as someone who works hard, encourages his teammates, stays humble, and shows good sportsmanship on and off the field. He believes character is just as important as winning.
One of the moments that made me most proud was when an opposing player knocked Weston down during a football game. Instead of getting caught up in the competition, Weston came to the sideline smiling and said how proud he was that the player helped him back up. In that moment, as early as Flag Football, I realized he understood that character and kindness matter more than the final score.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
