What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

The competitiveness of baseball and the fact baseball is a game of conquering failure that are inevitable. He got that at an early age and it is transcending through other life activities.


Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Mookie Betts personal story of how he got to the major league was a major inspiration to William.


What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

When he first arrived in high school in the fall, he was able to obtain the starting second base job. Four weeks later in the spring, he was cut from the team in a shock to everyone involved in William success. The proudest moment was two hours after being cut, he was back in the gym working harder than ever to accomplish his goals.
