What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Wyatt doesn’t just love sports he literally eats and breathes sports! When he is focused on a goal he does not stop. He plays sports at all hours of the day and night. His first word was “ball” and he had a hockey stick before he could walk. Bonding with teammates, scoring goals, and helping teammates score

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Cale Makar, mom, dad, grandma, aunts and uncles. Wyatt went through a very difficult time when he was 5 years old, he was very ill and spent upwards of six weeks in children’s hospital. The Colorado Avalanche came to visit and it truly gave him the inspiration to keep going and heal.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

From being in a PICU bed as the doctors told us he may never play sports again because he had literal holes in his lungs to being one of the best athletes of his time. Winning the AA league Championship in baseball this year!
