Wyatt loves the competition and the constant opportunity to improve. He works hard because he genuinely loves baseball and wants to become the best player and teammate he can be
Wyatt is inspired by his dad, his Papa, and Coach Michael. His dad inspires him through all the time they spend practicing together and by always encouraging him to work hard and believe in himself. His Papa is always cheering him on and reminding him how proud he is. Coach Michael inspires Wyatt by pushing him to improve, challenging him, and helping him grow as a baseball player. All three have taught Wyatt that hard work, determination, teamwork, and a positive attitude matter both on and off
One of the moments that makes me proudest is seeing how much work Wyatt puts in when no one is watching. He will hit off his tee, throw against the wall, or ask Dad to pitch to him for hours. He doesn’t practice because someone makes him—he practices because he loves baseball and genuinely wants to get better
