What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What he loves most about playing football is being able to share the experience with other kids who love the sport just as much as he does. For him, there is no greater feeling than being on the field, working toward a common goal. Football has taught him the importance of teamwork, trust, commitment, and encouraging others. The friendship and bonds he has built with his teammates make the sport even more meaningful to him.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He said his inspiration is himself. Academics can be difficult for him, but football motivates him to work harder because he knows good grades are necessary to play the sport he loves. Above all, his biggest inspiration is God. He strives everyday to become more like Christ by showing love, kindness, grace, and perseverance.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

What makes me proudest isn’t one game or accomplishment. It is how he treats his teammates, coaches, and even his opponents. Football is intense, and rivalries are real, but he continues to show grace, love, and kindness. He understands that competition doesn’t mean losing your character. Watching him lead with respect and humility makes me and his dad incredibly proud.
