What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreXavier loves the excitement of competition, being part of a team, and challenging himself to get better. Whether he’s scoring touchdowns, playing defense, on the basketball court, or competing in taekwondo, he loves giving his best and having fun while doing it. He especially loves the feeling of working hard and seeing that hard work pay off.
Xavier is inspired by his family, coaches, and teammates who encourage him to keep working hard and never give up. His coaches have taught him the importance of teamwork, discipline, and having a positive attitude. His family inspires him every day by supporting him and reminding him that success comes from dedication, effort, and believing in yourself.
One moment that makes me especially proud was watching Xavier compete in taekwondo and take 1st place in sparring. Seeing his confidence, focus, and determination come together was incredible. I’m also incredibly proud of his football accomplishments, including a game where he scored 2 touchdowns and 3 two-point conversions. More than the wins, I’m proud of the effort and heart he gives every time he steps onto the field or into competition.
