One of my favorite parts is being with my team and knowing we all have each other’s backs. Every game and practice teaches me something, and that makes me want to keep getting better. I just love being out there competing and giving it my all.
My parents inspire me the most because they always believe in me and encourage me to do my best. They teach me that hard work, respect, and never giving up are more important than winning. They support me at every game and practice, and knowing they’re proud of me motivates me to keep improving. I want to make them proud by giving my best on and off the field.
I’m most proud that in my very first year playing baseball and my first time playing any organized sport I worked hard enough to compete with kids who had been playing for years. At first I had a lot to learn, but I never gave up. I kept practicing, listened to my coaches, and got better every day. It showed me that hard work and determination can help you achieve anything.
