Learn MoreThe thing Yasiel loves most about playing sports is the connections he’s made with others. His sports requires a lot of traveling and he’s been able to meet people from all over and build relationships with them.
Yasiel is mostly inspired by his father who also played sports. With his dad being a high profile player in his time with lots of potential he unfortunately had a lot of trials and tribulations along his way. Yasiel is inspired to to be great and grateful for the opportunity his dad provides so he doesn’t face the same adversity.
What makes me the most proud is how humble Yasiel is. He works hard and train even harder. Through his wins and losses, he’s the same team player. He will beat you in a race and help and congratulate those running in after him. He will tackle you on a football field and help you up right after, he’s extremely selfless and every moment with him on a field, track or court is a proud moment.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
